WOD 1 (All divisi0ns):

2 Cleans + 1 Jerk at increasing loads.

WOD 1 Description and Standards (all divisions):

Athletes will begin standing at the first bar. At the call of 3,2,1,Go athletes will have 1:30 to complete their lift. Power or squat cleans are permitted. The bar must start on the floor and the clean is complete when the athlete reaches full extension of the knees and hips with the bar in the front rack position.

A second clean must then be completed. Between the first and second clean the athlete may rest the bar in the front rack position or at the hips. They may not rest the bar on the floor or let go of the bar at any time. Bouncing the bar between reps is not permitted. While attempting to lift, moving your feet outside of your lifting area will constitute a no rep. Hang cleans are not permitted.

Following successful completion of the second clean, any style of jerk or press is permitted. The feet must return to be under the hips with the bar overhead and full extension of the arms, hips and knees before the rep is counted.

Athletes will have a maximum of 2 attempts per bar. An attempt is counted once the bar passes the knees. Athletes will stay at their bar until the 1:30 has expired. If successful, they will move to their next bar at the call of 3,2,1 Go, or if unsuccessful will exit the competition floor. If an athlete successfully completes all 6 pre-loaded bars, they will earn a 7th bar where they can declare the load. The declared load must be at least 5 lbs heavier than the previous bar, loaded in 5 lb increments only.

WOD 2 Description and Standards (Open/Masters Divisions):

Athletes will share the rowing as desired and both athletes will complete all the gymnastics. Athlete 1 will begin seated on the rower with the hands off of the handle. At the call of 3,2,1,Go Athlete 1 may begin to row. An athlete must remain seated on the rower until the monitor displays 40 calories completed. Upon completion of 40 calories, both athletes begin their synchro toes to bar. The athletes begin with their feet off the ground and the arms fully extended. The heels must pass behind the plane of the bar and both athletes feet must touch the bar at the same time between the hands for the rep to be counted.

Upon completion of the synchro toes to bar, the 30 calorie row may begin. Upon completion of the 30 calorie row, both athletes begin their synchro pull ups. The pull up begins with the athletes feet off the ground and the arms fully extended. Any style of pull up is permitted. Both athletes chins must be clearly over the plane of the bar for the rep to count. If one athlete gets there first, they may wait with their chin above the bar for their partner.

Upon completion of the pull ups, the 20 calorie row may begin. Upon completion of the 20 calorie row, both athletes begin their synchro burpee pull ups. The athletes begin standing under their bar. Both athletes chests and thighs must make contact with the ground at the same time and their chins be clearly over the plane of the bar at the same time for the rep to count. Any style of pull up is permitted. If an athlete completes their rep first, they may wait with their chin above the bar for their partner.

Upon completion of the burpee pull ups, the 10 calorie row may begin. Upon completion of the 10 calorie row, both athletes begin their synchro chest to bar pull ups. The athletes begin with their feet off the ground and the arms fully extended. Both athletes chests must clearly make contact with the bar at or below the collarbone at the same time for the rep to be counted. Any style of pull up is permitted.

Upon completion of the chest to bar pull ups, the 40 calorie row may begin again.

Each team will receive two 8 inch boxes. Teams may only use the boxes for the burpee pull ups and are required to move the boxes out from underneath them for all other gymnastics movements. Athletes may use the boxes if standing on the box with their arms fully extended overhead doesn’t cause them to touch the bar.

Upon completion of the burpee pull ups, the 10 calorie row may begin. Upon completion of the 10 calorie row, both athletes begin their synchro bar muscle ups. Both athletes must begin with or pass through a hang below the bar, with arms fully extended and feet off the ground. Kipping the muscle-up is acceptable, but pull-overs, rolls to support, and glide kips are not permitted. No portion of the foot may rise above the bar during the kip. The rep is counted when both athletes are in a support position on top of the bar with their shoulders clearly in front of the plane of the bar. Athletes may not take their hands off of the bar at any point. If an athlete get to the finish position they may wait in that position for their partner.

Upon completion of the bar muscle ups, the 40 calorie row may begin again.

Each team will receive two 8 inch boxes. Teams may only use the boxes for the burpee pull ups and are required to move the boxes out from underneath them for all other gymnastics movements. Athletes may use the boxes if standing on the box with their arms fully extended overhead doesn’t cause them to touch the bar.


WOD 3 (ALL DIVISIONS):

For Time:

25 Synchro Snatches

50 Synchro Overhead Squats

**At start and every 2:00, 1 athlete alternating completes:

35 Double Unders

10 Box Jump Overs

WOD 3 description and standards (ALL DIVISIONS):

Athlete 1 will begin with their jump rope in their hands. Athlete 2 will begin at their barbell. At the call of 3,2,1, Go athlete 1 will complete 35 double unders with the rope successfully passing underneath the feet twice per jump followed by 10 box jump overs. No part of the athlete may touch the box during the box over. The jump must be a clear jump over the box with a two foot takeoff and two foot landing.

Upon completion of the box overs, both athletes will begin their 25 synchro snatches. Each rep starts with the bar on the ground. Power, squat, and split snatches are permitted. Hang snatches are not permitted. Bouncing the bar is not permitted. The rep is counted when both athletes hips, knees, and arms are extended at the same time with the bar over the middle of the body, or slightly behind, when viewed from profile. If a split snatch is used, the feet must return in line before the bar is lowered. If an athlete completes their rep first, they may wait in the finish position for their partner.

At the 2:00 mark Athlete 2 will complete 35 double unders and 10 box jump overs. Upon completion of the box overs, both athletes will continue to accumulate their 25 synchro snatches. Upon completion of the synchro snatches, the synchro overhead squats will begin. Each reps starts with both athletes hips, knees, and arms extended at the same time with the bar overhead over the middle of the body, or slightly behind, when viewed from profile. Both athletes must clearly get their hips below their knees at the same time. If an athlete completes their rep first, they may wait in the bottom of their squat for their partner. The rep is complete when both athletes return to the starting position.

At the 4:00 mark Athlete 1 will begin their second and final effort of 35 double unders and 10 box jump overs. This pattern will continue, with Athlete 2 completing their second and final effort at the 6:00 mark with both athletes working to accumulate reps of the 25 synchro snatches and the 50 synchro overhead squats until complete or the time cap is reached.

WOD 3 Loadings and box heights:

Open/Masters M: 95 pound barbell, 12 inch box

Open/Masters F: 65 pound barbell, 8 inch box

RX M: 115 pound barbell, 16 inch box

RX F: 80 pound barbell, 12 inch box


WOD 4 Will be a surprise final WOD open only to the top 5 teams in each division!
