Paleo-Friendly Honey Garlic Shrimp Recipe

What You Need

Small mixing bowl
Medium skillet


For the Sauce:

  • 2 T raw honey
  • 2 T coconut aminos
  • 1 t garlic, minced
  • 1/4 t chili flakes (optional)

For the Shrimp & Veggies:

  • 1 t coconut oil
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup zucchini, sliced
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, julienned

For the Garnish:

  • Lime wedges for serving
  • 2 T fresh cilantro, chopped

How to Make It

1. Stir together ingredients for sauce in a small bowl. Set aside.

2. Blot excess moisture from shrimp using a paper towel. Melt coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once oil is hot, add shrimp and vegetables to skillet. Cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3. Pour sauce into pan and cook 5-6 minutes longer.

4. Garnish with lime and cilantro before serving.
