Matt will be running a Mobility clinic to teach movement assessment and discuss ways to decrease joint pain and improve performance through mobilization techniques. While Mobility might not be as sexy as lifting big weights or getting a muscle up, it is super important to your CrossFit success. Without proper shoulder and hip mechanics, movements like a low squat or getting a barbell overhead are impossible.
This clinic will cover the anatomy related to joint dysfunction, a complete functional movement assessment to identify where you are deficient, as well as extensive work on mobilizing and strengthening key problem areas. You should leave feeling confident in your own ability to assess what is holding you back and with strategies to perform your own daily body maintenance.
