Getting a regular massage once a month or more can help you reduce soreness and risk of injury, while increasing mobility so you can perform better. Massage services are available to members and non-members.

How Often Should I Get Massages
Just like when you get the oil changed and the tires rotated regularly on your car, it’s important to focus on your body’s needs. Yes, exercise is taking care of your body, but you also need to address the muscles, connective tissue and joints that are keeping you moving. Complete the circle: train hard, eat well, get sleep, and get bodywork to keep your body running well for as long as possible.
At least one bodywork session a month is ideal for the weekend warrior athlete looking for routine maintenance and to remain injury-free. If you have a chronic issue, once a week for at least 3-4 weeks will get you back on track toward a better functioning body that’s prepared for whatever you need.

Jake has extensive training and has worked with pioneers in Thai Massage, Integrated Positional Therapy and Yoga. He is also trained in Functional Movement Screens and is able to prescribe online corrective exercises. Jake prescribes exercises with each session to unwind the root causes of pain and immobility and he has had great success with CrossFitters, Runners, Triathletes, Cyclists and Climbers. Jake comes from an endurance, yoga and climbing background and now blends that experience with his newer passion – CrossFit.
