Easy Baked Salmon Papilliote

We sell great salmon at the gym that is wild-caught in Alaska.

  • 1 large salmon filet
  • refined coconut oil
  • salt & pepper
  • minced fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, etc.)
  • 1-2 lemons sliced

Preheat oven to 350. On a shallow roasting pan or cookie sheet, lay out a large sheet of aluminum foil. Cover it with parchment paper so that the foil will not touch your fish. Lay out the thawed salmon filet and cover with some fat (avocado oil, coconut oil, butter after the challenge, etc.), salt, pepper, herbs (thyme, rosemary, etc.) and lemon slices. Fold the foil and parchment around the fish, so that it’s sealed and bake for 20-30 minutes depending on size of the fillet. This is great with veggies too – cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced potatoes, carrots, zucchini, etc.
