These are in season again and you’ll probably see them on the menu at the best restaurants around Boulder. They were in our CSA yesterday and I’ve seen them at Ideal Market. The ones from Red Wagon are not hot but at restaurants, it seems like 1 in 10 is spicy. They are so easy and take less than 10 minutes to make.
- 1 Bag of Shishito Peppers (they are sold in bulk at the grocery store)
- Refined Coconut Oil
- Course Salt
Heat pan on medium-high heat, add a tablespoon of coconut oil. Fry them up until they are browned on all sides, remove from heat and sprinkle with coarse salt…delicious!
